From Hurt 2 Healing

At The Most Excellent Way Learning Life Centers, our goal is to make a real difference in the lives of those suffering mental, emotional, spiritual, physical or economic pain. To do so, we honor those who have made a major impact on others that is significant enough to change the quality of life for a child or family.

We have honored doctors who provide free cleft-palate surgery to children between the ages of 1 and 6, and have honored a teacher who devotes his Saturdays – and his own funds – to mentoring and tutoring elementary-school children.​
Candidates may be nominated by the community or by a family member. Following a committee review, candidates are notified of their nominations. The finale is held during our formal awards ceremony. At which time ten finalists receive community awards. The distinguished Most Excellent Way Community Service Award is given to the most outstanding candidate.

From Hurt 2 Healing – The True Story
The story is told in From Hurt 2 Healing, a book and workbook that guides women who have lost their voice to pain. The book and our philosophy are based on Reverend Walton’s personal journey of abuse involving a deceitful husband as well as the divine intervention that provided a new destiny.

In From Hurt 2 Healing, Reverend Walton makes a direct request for women to learn who they are and declare this in Christ, so that they know their worth, renew their strength and break the cycle of victimization for their daughters.
